The role of the Clinical Manager is responsible for maintaining efficient day-to-day clinical operations of a multi-physician cosmetic surgery practice. You will partner with our Practice Manager to deliver a great patient experience and ensure an environment of care. You will have a passion for building teams and be a player/coach. While the majority of your responsibilities will be in team management, you will need to jump in as needed to assist in the day-to-day handling of pre-ops, surgeries, and post-ops.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Have demonstrated experience of leading a clinical team
  • Must currently be ACLS licensed or certified as an LPN or an RN (you may also get ACLS licensed within 30 days of employment; reimbursement is available)

Key Clinical Manager responsibilities:

Oversight and support of the day-to-day clinical activities in an accredited out-patient surgical facility. Delivering an outstanding patient experience while owning the culture, effectiveness, and efficiency of clinical operations

  • Building and communicating an effective nurse schedule
  • Oversight across clinical supply ordering and all QA/QI reporting
  • Ensure exceptional training and development of the clinical team members alongside Practice Manager
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships across all physicians within the center, including communication and meeting cadence, building best practices, and displaying excellent judgment
  • As second in operational command, responsible for overall center management when the Practice Manager is offsite

Key clinical responsibilities:

  • Ability to be active and on your feet throughout the day, and lift up to 50 lbs (to help assist with patients)
  • Monitor the collection, processing, maintenance, storage, appropriate access to and usage of patient and clinical records
  • Assist as required with pre-operative and post-operative visits
  • Help with center opening and closing duties. A flexible schedule is needed outside of open center hours to stay late or come early if required
  • Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments, equipment, and operating rooms
  • Passion for communicating to patients with warmth, ability to explain treatment procedures, medications, and physician's instructions'
