Job Description

Locations : Foster City, CA, San Jose, CA, Bethpage, NY, and Charlotte, NC

Job Responsibilities :

• 4 years of experience in developing reports, dashboards, SQL queries, or metadata layers using MicroStrategy.
• Experience in converting business data needs into creative visualizations in MicroStrategy.
• Thorough understanding of MicroStrategy architecture.
• Partner with business stakeholders to provide them with the ability to make decisions and gain insights through data visualization.
• Complete life cycle experience including requirements gathering, data modeling, design, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
• Ability to write SQL for initial data mining that can be communicated to peer ETL developers for database development.
• MicroStrategy-Hadoop integration is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Data modeling, design, and implementation based on recognized standards.
• Additional knowledge of Tableau is a definite plus.
• Experience in ETL tools (like Talend, Pentaho) preferred.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
• Ability to work in a diverse / multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience in the financial domain.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience within Information Technologies.
