What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, Retail position at Sony Music Entertainment US?
The Sr. Manager, Retail Sales position is responsible for driving sales of licensed merchandise to major apparel retailers in the US market. The overarching priorities of this dynamic role are revenue growth, expanding our marketing capabilities and sales presence on Amazon and similar marketplaces, as well as opening new retail accounts (both on and offline). Additional priorities include development of digital marketing strategies, best-in-class sales tools, liaising with cross functional teams on creative, production, and business development. An exciting component of this role is developing and driving online retail go to market strategies for some of the world’s most successful music artists.The Sr. Manager of Retail Sales will report to the Sr. Director of Sales and work closely with the central commercial teams to ensure impactful results and exceptional client service.
What you'll do:
- Manage our official artist stores on Amazon. Optimize & grow online retail presence
- Develop third party print on demand partnerships to scale national online sales presence - reaching partners from Kohls and Urban Outfitters to Walmart.
- Create and execute strategies to expand our presence to additional online marketplaces
- Create and drive digital marketing strategies and processes
- Handle brick & mortar retail sales for selected accounts in the US market
- Identify potential Business development opportunities
Who you are:
- Experience working with Amazon and similar retailers
- Print on demand partnership and wholesale management experience
- Direct-to-consumer retail experience
- Well versed in Digital Marketing and Sales Analytics
- Entrepreneurial
