Description
The Senior Teller position will be responsible for greeting members and potential members, identifying their perceived and unperceived needs and process transactions promptly and accurately. This position utilizes a thorough SCU product knowledge, exceptional cross selling and service skills and a professional demeanor to assist each member. The Senior Teller performs exceptional service, working both independently and as a team and serves as a leader and role model for other members of the organization and performs as a strong backup to the Operations Supervisor.

Requirements
What will you be doing?
- Serve as the face of the organization and provide exceptional service to the members of Sooper Credit Union.
- Assist the Operations Supervisor with scheduling, training, and coaching the other tellers, assists with performance reviews, maintains the branch's monthly audit requirements.
- Learn about our members by listening to them and developing a relation with them.
- Deepen and strengthen the relationship with the member by educating them on our products and services.
- Process transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments etc.
- Participate in achieving individual and branch goals.
- Work with team members to drive a high accountability and fun organizational culture.
- Share your knowledge and ideas on everything from effective practices to ways we can better support our membership and our team
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- One to three years of customer service experience
- A high school education or GED.
- Previous leadership experience and can exhibit strong leadership skills
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an hourly rate starting at $18.50/hour, depending on experience, education and qualifications.
