SOS, Inc. seeks a full-time Community Relations Coordinator. Good oral and written communication skills, familiar with social/media technology, design and public relations techniques, event planning and fundraising experience encouraged. Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations or related field, or equivalent experience required.

Essential Job Functions include:
- Prepare, distribute, and instigate news statements, public service announcements and radio interviews on appropriate topics and in response to events with the aid of agency staff.
- Prepare a minimum of six newsletters annually for distribution including the annual report.
- Create SOS program materials, brochures, flyers, and other means for educating or communicating with the public.
- Market and coordinate the planning and implementation of community awareness events, a holiday drive, and other special events.
- Manage the online and active social media presence for SOS including, but not limited to the SOS website, Facebook, LinkedIn, 211, Google business pages, and Instagram.
- Promote awareness months and campaigns.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33,280.00 - $40,000.00 per year
