Overview** This position is contingent upon a contract award**SOSi is seeking a Program Manager to provide oversight and ensure successful delivery of services to meet the overall requirements in support of the U.S. customer in Iraq. This position requires extensive interaction with technical and administrative personnel from the Government and other teamed companies.Responsibilities Meet contractual cost, schedule, and technical performance commitments. Primary Point of Contact (POC) for contractual or administrative questions or difficulties that arise related to the contract, interfacing with the Contracting Officer, and Government leadership. Oversee management and implementation of the Program Management Plan. Control resources, monitor staff proficiency and qualifications, monitor the locations and activities of assets, and coordinate the flow of information to and from staff and USG representatives. Maintain a safe workplace and ensure safety is the highest priority in the workplace. Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Plan and manage normal and contingency operations. Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs. Manage, monitor, and track ILSS services. Identify problem areas and respond to mission requirements to perform requirements. Oversee the coordination of work priorities and monitoring of methods, procedures, and programs. Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Review work orders and work order reports to ensure the tasks are completed on-time and inspect the projects to ensure all work is accomplished per the SOW. Recommend, develop, implement, establish, and enforce procedures and programs to increase efficiency and improve cost effectiveness to the program. Adhere to company and government policies, processes, regulations, statutes, and procedures.Qualifications Active in Scope Secret security clearance. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Logistics Management, Contracts, or related field. Fifteen (15) years Logistics support services and/or Operations and Maintenance management experience with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in providing such services to large operations. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment. Valid driver’s license from home of record. Strong professional English communication skills, both oral and written. Possess knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of project management. Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel. Preferred Qualifications PMP Certification. Relevant overseas logistics management experience. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the U.S. Government Contracting industry. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Visio. Knowledge of all principles and processes involved in supporting contract responsibilities at an overseas facility. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules. Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.Working Conditions Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable. Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
