FIELD INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN
Position: Audio-Video-Lighting Technician
Location: Based in Jackson, MS
Reports to: Operations Manager
Type: Full-Time hourly

Field Installation Technician wanted to work for company that designs and installs low-voltage systems such as Audio, Video and Stage Lighting systems. Position includes but is not limited to installation, troubleshooting, and testing systems.
1. Responsible for the basic wiring and installation of Audio, Video and Lighting components.
2. Ability to program A-V equipment and lighting controls is a plus.
3. Responsible for pulling wiring and cabling.
4. Responsible for meeting customer testing requirements, etc.
5. Responsible for accurate tracking on time sheets, service/installation tickets.
6. Full compliance with company's and customer's safety program.
7. Proficient in the operation of power tools.
Qualifications:
Successful candidate will be proficient in installing low-voltage systems such as Audio-Video-Lighting. Candidate should possess basic computer skills. Candidate will also demonstrate strong troubleshooting ability, be mechanically inclined and willing to learn.
Travel: Must be willing to travel within the State of MS (sometimes overnight), have satisfactory driving record and clean criminal history record. Company vehicle provided and expenses paid.

Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:
1. Employee is required to stand, walk, climb, sit, and use hands and fingers.
2. Abide by OSHA regulations and use Personal Protective equipment as required by the work environment.
3. Requires the ability to lift 50 lbs. overhead, work from ladders of various types or other construction equipment including, but not limited to, boom lift, scissor lift, scaffolding, etc. Position also requires team member to climb, crawl, and raise things overhead.
4. Although most work is performed inside; occasional outside work will need to be performed.
