Engineering Administrator

POSITION
We are seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, experienced Engineering Administrator with high personal standards of performance to support the growing engineering operations. This position reports directly to our Engineering Program Manager and will be located at our Milford, MA facility.
Under minimal supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing engineering document releases by the defined process and help program managers with planning and buying and planning activities for new products including but not limited to engineering material inventory management and reporting.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Checking for accuracy of submitted change requests
- Checking for clarity of submitted requests.
- Able to follow documented procedures
- Able to create/edit/update procedures as processes evolve.
- Review and update technical documents (e.g. manuals and workflows)
- Purchase required material/components for engineering NPI programs
- Tracking engineering purchases per NPI program
- Preparing monthly NPI program purchasing reports
- Assist with NPI program material kitting
- Assist with transferring material from NPI to Stock
- Assist with other engineering needs as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in any field, with preference of any engineering concentration
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office package, Excel certification will be a plus
- Experience in Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) programs such as Agile
- Knowledge of ERP system, such as SAGE or other will be a plus
