Salary Range: $41,811.00 Annually

General Job Description:

The purpose of this classification is to perform professional work collecting, organizing, evaluating, and reporting planning data in conjunction with and for the Planning staff members. Employee in this classification performs duties related to the activities of the Planning Commission, including conducting research related to planning issues, preparing and presenting reports, communicating ideas to Commission members and the public, and maintaining data layers in a GIS.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, or related field; supplemented in vocational/technical coursework in GIS and computers; one years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess a valid South Carolina driver’s license.
