South Lake Ob/Gyn & Advanced Surgery has 2 offices located in Clermont, FL. We are seeking a Full-time Medical Receptionist for our busy Clermont, FL location.
Job Summary:
The Medical Receptionist is responsible for the daily operations of the office and all administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a team player who is able to work independently. The Medical Receptionist will greet patients, schedule appointments, and provide basic patient information.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
·Greet patients, answer phones, and direct them to the appropriate party
·Answering basic patient questions about services and insurance eligibility
·Ensure that patients receive prompt, courteous and effective care from all staff members
·Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and timely for all visits
·Schedule new patient appointments, check patients in and out, collect payments, and process claims
·Maintain office inventory including mailings, packages, faxes etc.
·Assist with general office duties as needed including filing, data entry etc.
·Maintain confidentiality of all patient information as required by HIPAA regulations
·Adhere to established office policies and procedures including staffing levels
·Maintain a positive attitude and good work record in a team environment
·Other duties as assigned by management
Education & Experience:
·High School Diploma or equivalent required
·Office experience preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 38 per week
