As a Dietary Manager you have an enormousimpact on our residents' quality of life and overall satisfaction. You are responsible for ensuring yourdepartment delivers and exceptional dining experience at every meal by hiringand training cooks and server personnel.
You and your staff will be guided by planned menus and a budget you willhelp develop. You will have the autonomyto create a dining program that showcases creativity and is responsive to ourresidents' choices.
You will also beresponsible for food and supply purchasing within your budget. You will work with your dining team tomaintain a clean, sanitary and safe work environment that complies with local,state and federal food service regulations.
80% of time in this position is dedicated to food preparation. 20% of this position is dedicated toplanning, purchasing and administrative tasks.
Qualifications :
- Minimum age of 18.
- Prefer experience in quantity foodproduction in a health care setting.
- Serve Safe Certification orequivalent preferred or obtained shortly after employment.
