Major/Essential Functions
1. Administration of the policies, rules, and regulations necessary for the operation of the South Randall County Hospital District (District).
2. Attendance at all meetings of the District Board and committees with responsibility for creating an agenda, notification of board members at least 5 days prior to the meeting and public posting of the agenda in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
3. Responsible for official communications between the Board and business partners of the District and maintenance of all correspondence.
4. Presentation of reports to the Board, as required concerning policies and procedures for consideration by the Board.
5. Maintenance of the District’s physical properties in a good state of repair and operating condition.
6. Oversight of programs ensuring that: (a) all patients treated by any District facilities receive care at a level of quality and efficiency consistent with generally accepted standards; and (b) a high level of professional performance is provided by all practitioners providing services on behalf of District patients.
7. Responsible for purchase of supplies, services, and equipment in accordance with policies and procedures approved by the Board.
8. Supervision of the business affairs to ensure that funds are collected and expended to the best possible advantage.
9. Assist in preparation of an annual budget for the District under the Board’s direction.
10. Appointment of an Assistant Administrator as deemed necessary by the Board.
11. Compliance with such other requirements imposed by law upon the District Administrator.

Pay: $2,600.00 - $3,720.00 per month
