SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
It is the responsibility of the IT Project Manager to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change; leading resolution of conflict; navigating barriers.
- Manage IT projects with a moderate to high level of risk / regulatory oversight
- Participate in the development, maintenance, and updating of IT Project Management standards and procedure as needed.
- Serve as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders to identify, document, and resource requirements.
- Manage projects with high-level of Project Management rigor (i.e., PMBoK/industry standards)
- Responsible to ensure supporting Project Collateral is created in adherence to IT Project Management standards and procedures. This will include the creation of the collateral itself.
- Manage IT technology initiatives from concept through implementation.
- May manage multiple projects at any given time and time horizon of projects generally range from medium to long term.
- Oversee daily project activity.
- May indirectly manage cross-Line of Business (LoB) Project team consisting of Business Analysts, Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Technology Resources where applicable to the project.
- May use traditional waterfall, agile, Scaled Agile, or a mixture of project management techniques.
- Coordinate the identification and mitigation of project risks.
- Coordinate the identification and resolution of project issues.
- Manage and escalate program issues to the IT Program Manager, IT PMO Manager, and IT Leadership as needed.
- Develop and report upon KPIs to IT Program Managers, IT PMO Manager, and IT Leadership.
- Monitor and report on project status to IT Program Managers, IT PMO Manager, IT Leadership, and Bank Leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college or equivalent in related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering Required.
- Experience: At least three years of related experience required.
- Certifications/Specific Knowledge: PMP, CSM, and/or SAFE certifications are highly desirable.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES
Required annual compliance training; New Employee Orientation; ITIL Foundations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to communicate orally with management co-workers, and non-technical stakeholders is important. Regular use of the telephone, e-mail, and collaboration tools for communication is essential. Standing or sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is important for conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect project collateral.
Heavy lifting is not expected. Exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally is required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines or measuring tools is required.
Good math and reasoning ability is essential. Able to apply statistical calculations, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, and sampling theory as required. Able to understand and utilize engineering drawings, utilize financial reports and legal documents to conduct business
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered. Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
