Job Description
Verify payments from EOB’s daily.
-Claim adjustments and hospital billing.
-Patient and insurance company phone calls.
-Registration corrections.
-Switchboard coverage.
-Adjust claim and account balances.
-Answer and process vendor inquiries.
-Clerical tasks as needed.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
High School Graduate or equivalent required, Associates Degree preferred.
-2 years healthcare billing experience required.
-Understanding of health insurance, benefits and billing.
-Computer literate including Word and Excel.
-Knowledge of self pay collections and charity care preferred.
