We are searching for a Business Analyst –EPIC to carry out various duties in support of business systems and end users including but not limited to: perform analysis of workflow; assessment of system needs and requirements; plan, design, and test systems and interfaces; coordinate work efforts with applicable MIS and organizational personnel; train end-users as needed; document and troubleshoot work involved in systems implementation and maintenance; and act as liaison to all end users. On-call rotation required. Provide functional or technical supervision of other employees in the same or related classifications where supervisory responsibility is limited to occasional direction, guidance, explanation, etc. Act as an applications expert and assume training responsibilities as needed
- Hours: 40hrs
- Shift: Day shift with call, weekend, and holiday; 8:00am-4:30pm
- Location: Southcoast Business Center – Fairhaven, MA
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and experience required.
- Experience supporting Epic and/or other healthcare information systems required.
- Technical/programming experience preferred.
- PC-based computer skills, spreadsheet and word processing proficiency required.
- Five (5) years MIS and/or business related experience, including two (2) years in similar and related position required.
- Epic HIM Certification. Onbase, 3M and RightFax experience.
- Must obtain EPIC certification.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID 19 and provide required vaccination documentation, unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
