Selection Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 3 years experience working in a customer relations management database; experience with Razor’s Edge NXT preferred
Minimum 3 years experience in data handling techniques including queries, data imports, and exports
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to synthesize high volumes of data and write concisely
Proficiency with Google Office Suite with high functioning Google Sheets or Excel abilities
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills for data management, planning, forecasting and predictive modeling with high attention to detail
Detailed understanding and knowledge of best practices in non-profit and/or fundraising to inform and help lead our fundraising efforts
Demonstrated ability and experience developing process and system documentation
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, anticipate needs, recognize patterns and problems, initiate practical solutions, and manage projects from beginning to end
Ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive manner
Position Summary: The Development Database Analyst/Administrator (DDA) supports the fundraising goals of Rochester Catholic Schools and works with internal and external partners to ensure the ongoing optimization and maintenance of our fundraising database. This position serves as an integral member of the Department of Development and oversees all aspects of its donor relations database, including but not limited to, donor record creation and management, data integrity, data extraction, creation and generation of analytical/financial reports, gift processing, monthly reconciliation and documentation of procedures. This role will champion continuous efforts to improve data quality, integrity and trust, and document policies and procedures to reduce duplication, streamline efforts and increase functionality. The DDA is responsible for identifying, researching, recommending and analyzing prospects for major and principal gift cultivation and solicitation. The DDA conducts in-depth research on individuals, corporations, and foundations in order to find prospects whose goals and interests align with philanthropic investment in RCS
