Job Summary
Provides valet parking for patients and their visitors who utilize Southeast Cancer Center as their provider of care
Essential Functions
- Operates a variety of vehicle types
- Keeps work area and keys organized
- Greets patients in a positive manner
- Works in a variety of weather conditions
- Assists patients/visitors in and out of vehicle as needed
- Has wheelchair ready for patient when needed
- Operates motor vehicles in a safe and respectful manner
- Keeps records as requested/required
- Is energetic and required to be extremely agile during times of high volume, possibly running to retrieve a vehicle
- Attendants are not allowed to chauffer any person
- Gets to know by name, those patients who regularly visit the Cancer Center
- Communicates patient arrival to welcome desk
- Anticipates vehicle pick up times by working with other departments in order to facilitate flow
- Exhibits a positive attitude at all times
- Easily engages clientele in conversation
- Is creative in finding ways to individualize the patients’ experience
- Requires exposure to the elements and extreme temperatures
- Requires a high level of activity
- Any other duties as needed to drive to the Vision, fulfill the Mission, and abide by the Values of the organization
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Salary : $25,800 - $32,700
