Southeastern Equipment is looking for a WAREHOUSE PARTS CLERK to support shipping, receiving and stocking activities. THIS POSITION REQUIRES COMPUTER SKILLS, CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND AN ORIENTATION TO DETAIL!
The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for performing warehousing activities, inventory control, and recordkeeping. Exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands.
Responsibilities:
• Check in all daily incoming shipments for all vendors by comparing actual count to packing slip.
• Post all incoming packing slip into the computer
• Process all incoming stock orders
• Store all incoming stock in the appropriate bin location as labeled
• Locate all new parts posted into stock determine the correct location and make changes in the computer along with labeling new parts
• Check in incoming shipments from all branches by comparing actual count to the packing slip and entering into stock
• Generates outgoing shipments to include: picking, packing and invoicing
• Pull all customer orders as needed and place in will call, or package for shipment ensuring that paperwork is placed with the outgoing parts
• Keep the parts warehouse clean and organized
• Maintain all junk core inventory by ensuring that all cores are checked in and tagged with the customer information
• Process and maintain all returns by properly putting up all parts being returned from customers
• Any other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
• Some related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer literate with the ability to learn and be proficient in any software program
Occupational Conditions and Physical Requirements
Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arm
Required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and may have to lift up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close vision and distance vision
Primarily working in an controlled atmosphere building, however, the associate may occasionally be exposed to varying temperature conditions in the warehouse
Wear required personal protective equipment (e.g. safety shoes) as necessary
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
