Description
PowerSecure is hiring a Construction Foreman to ensure that the installation of the distributed infrastructure equipment is completed safely, on time, on budget, and within the specifications of the project. This is a travel position and the initial project is based in Dallas, TX. After completion of project, additional work may be available if you are willing to travel extensively across the USA.
The Construction Foreman will also be responsible for:
- Maintaining safe and healthy work sites by following company standards and procedures and complying with legal requirement
- Proficiently understanding all aspects of project and adequately manage the installation
- Properly coordinating with respective parties for timely execution of project schedule
- Properly communicating with Senior Staff to ensure each project is installed safely, timely, and on budgetRequirements
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 4 years of experience in construction field
- Minimum one year experience overseeing a construction crew
- Minimum one-year experience in electrical construction
- Minimum one-year experience in concrete construction
- Ability to use computer and proficient with standard office software
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be willing and able to travel 75-85% as required (driving company vehicle and/or fly commercially if necessary)
- Must be able to stand or walk for 3-4 hours at a time
- Valid Driver’s License
