Our Conservation team is looking for a Payment Processor to join our team. The qualifications are:

• Associate’s degree, preferably in a business related field and one year of customer service related experience or three years’ of customer service experience in an office environment
• Basic skills using MS Word and Excel
• Basic typing skills (40 WPM)
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task

The role responsibilities are:

• Contact the policy owner and discuss options and alternatives for payment by credit card and other means (check, bank draft, automatic premium loan)
• Mail correspondence to policyholders on payments received.
• Maintain scripts and correspondence for conservation efforts on policies in the special offer period.
• Input credit card transactions into the appropriate systems and ensure that entries are in balance.
• Become familiar with state laws that prohibit solicitation at any time or during certain hours.
• Maintain spreadsheet of efforts, conserved policies by credit card as well as other means of conserved business.
• Maintain a follow up procedure for return calls and callbacks.
