About the Company

At Southern Freight Lines we are growing our fleet and are currently looking for drivers to haul dry freight and flat bed loads regionally throughout Texas.

Job Summary
  • Owner Operator
  • Flatbed trailer
  • Regional
  • $6,500 - $8,500 gross total weekly avg. pay. Paid weekly.
  • 2,100 - 3,000 avg. miles per week
  • Paid fuel surcharge
  • No Driver Load/Unload
  • 25% tarping
Home Time
  • 3 - 10 expected days out
  • You can stay out longer if you want to
  • Home at least 2 weekends per month
Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
  • Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
Equipment Requirements
  • Max truck age: No policy
  • No overdimensional trucks allowed
Hiring Requirements
  • Class A license
  • 3 years Tractor Trailer experience in the last 4 years
