Technical Support Specialist
The SGS Technical Support Specialist is a full-time position responsible for performing highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain coin-operated amusement machines; Telephone Technical Support for all products providing excellent customer service to customers of the GA market.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Telephone Technical Support Monday-Friday 9-5
2. Repairs on and offsite related to trouble shooting and technical issues
3.Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
4.Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
5. Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
6. Complete all work in a timely and efficient manner.
Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1.Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and repair of COAM machines.
2.Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
3.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
4.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
5.Detect faulty operations or defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
6.Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines.
7.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
8. Provide over the phone technical support and reports as required.
Requirements
1.Must be 18 years or older.
2.Must have High School diploma.
3.Must have valid Georgia driver’s license and the ability to drive a box truck.
4.Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and have ability to use a manual hand truck.
5.Must be available full-time between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm Monday – Friday.
6.Encouraged to have some technical background and technical support experience.
7.Encouraged to have motivation to learn about COAM industry and products associated within.
8.Motivation to grow and develop new skills to benefit the SGS organization.
Job Type: Full-time
