Position Summary:
The AD\SCCM Administrators/Managers primary focus will be on the day-to-day operation and management of SGS & Co’s AD and SCCM environments according to its established ITSM standards and guidelines.
Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Active Directory
Creation and management of directory infrastructure, both on prem and in the Cloud
Includes FSMO roles, Trusts, Kerberos KDCs, replication topology, etc.
Creation of all top-level OU hierarchies with standard sub-OUs, groups, and appropriate security permissions. This includes adding the OU Admins to the Add Computers group, Group Policy Creator Owners group, and OU Admins mail list. It also includes setting appropriate permissions on the created objects and linking of default GPOs.
Monitoring and reporting associated with the reliability and security of the domain
Use the Domain and Enterprise Admin account only for actions that require the privilege level of this account
Monitoring changes to domain root and domain controllers OU to ensure unauthorized changes do not occur
Day-to-day management of the domain controllers
Monitoring connectivity, synchronization, replication, net logon, time services, FSMO roles, schema, NTDS database partitions, DNS settings, SRV records, and trust relationships
Review DC event and security logs and take corrective actions
Monitor and resolve security situations at all levels of the domain to ensure a stable and secure domain
Domain Controller Management
Backups and restores on domain controllers
Full disaster recovery plan and practice recovery of DCs and core Directory objects
Policy monitoring and compliance
Secure remote administration of the DCs and member servers
Manage group policy objects
Manage the root Users and the root Computers OUs
Manage and support Single Sign-On (SSO), including integration support for third party applications
Install and manage security reporting tools used to monitor changes to the Active Directory
Plan and manage all migrations and upgrades related to the AD or the DCs
Provide management and escalated support for Microsoft O365
SCCM
Designing, Planning, and Implementing System Center Configuration Manager, such as:
Planning System Center Configuration Manager hierarchy and site system
Creating and managing Boundary Groups across one or more Distribution
Management of site communications. (Bandwidth, Senders, Secondary Sites, )
Role-Based Administration: Managing custom roles and security scopes
Planning and securing SCCM using security
General monitoring of site health via SSRS, log files, and the SCCM
Planning, configuring and implementing a backup plan to mitigate the loss of SCCM services in the event of a disaster with the least amount of data loss

Manage and configure User and Device collections including:
Creating query-based collections
Configuring Site Collection Maintenance Windows
Configuring Power Management Rules
Deploying Operating System Images (primarily Windows 10) via SCCM OSD. This includes:
Configuring WDS, configuring PXE, configuring the VM build environment, and integrating with MDT
Build / Capture / Update Windows 10 images
Manage images (updating of Drivers, )
Creating Distribution Points and distributing the images accordingly
Creating a deployment Task Sequence and deploying the Task Sequence
Creating Packages for Operating System
Deployment of Applications and Software Updates including:
Creating and deploying applications with user device affinity, compliance settings, Software Center and task
Monitoring updates via Automatic Deployment Rules (ADR), Update Groups, Deployment packages, and other
Reporting on the success or failure of Application
Management of Compliance Settings by creating and importing Configuration Items (CI)
Deploy Client Management agents
Manage clients using Group Policy, WSUS, logon scripts, Client Push,
Trouble client health
Manage and report on hardware and software inventory
Create, modify, and produce custom reporting as needed
