- New Grad RNs with 0-1 year of experience: $5,000 (full time)
- Registered Nurses with 1-3 years of experience: $10,000 (full time)
- Registered Nurses with more than 3 years of experience: $20,000 (full time)

Position Summary
The Nurse Educator is a registered nurse who reports to the Nursing Director of Education, and has a dotted line reporting relationship with the unit Nurse Manager. The Nurse Educator responsibilities include a combination of quality, education and clinical duties to ensure that the department needs are met.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Bachelor of Science in nursing desired, Master of Nursing preferred
- License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maine State Board of Nursing required. Certification would be expected within one year of hire.
- Experience: Two years' current specialty experience preferred. At least 3 to 5 years experience with acute care setting preferred.
- A relatively high level of critical thinking skills, process and problem-solving skills, systems knowledge and strong interpersonal skills are required.
