Overview: The Medical Receptionist provides medical office front desk assistance in an outpatient pain management office.
Description: This employee must be a team player and able to strive in a fast-paced work environment! This employee will assist with scheduling new patient visits as well as followup visits. They will verify the accuracy of patients' insurances and demographics. They will field phone calls from referring providers and patients and make sure their needs are met. They will also assist with the day-to-day operations of a busy clinic and ensure that patients are getting in and out of the clinic in an efficient, streamlined manner and help out wherever they are most needed at that time.
Minimum Education and/or Training: High school diploma/GED
Special Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of basic computer function and operations Knowledge of basic electronic medical record (EMR), Athena preferred Knowledge of basic medical terminology, preferred
Job Expectations: For this position, we are looking for a medical receptionist who is willing to work form 7:30AM to 5:30PM Tuesday through Friday at our Memphis location.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
