JOB SUMMARY
- Responsible for supporting HR Communications and Engagement team members to plan and execute communications and engagement activities for PLD. Supports development of content for PLD deployed via Yammer, SharePoint, all-Dept. meetings, culture activities and onboarding sessions. Drafts required internal communications and messages from Senior Leadership, supports bi-monthly All Hands and quarterly Leadership meetings, and assists with communications demand management and action planning efforts across the People Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in laying out material for publication including editing, standardizing, or making changes
- to material prepared by others
- Coordinate recurring content planning sessions and facilitates appropriate usage of a content management and organization tool
- Create and publish content across multiple channels
- Support deployment of engagement, culture and recognition activities
- Create communication plans supporting events and activities
- Draft original content and works with existing content to improve readability
- Partner, communicate, and build relationships to gather Customer and business requirements
- Assist Team with gathering and analyzing information for reporting purposes and/or to provide input on special projects
- Maintain and revise policies and procedures
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
- Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions
- Skilled in communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
- Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand

EDUCATION
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE
- Intermediate level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
- Engagement and recognition strategy

- Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
