The Senior Privacy Analyst invests in the future of Southwest's People by supporting the Information Governance Team, which is responsible for Privacy, E-Discovery, Legal Operations, Cybersecurity (legal), and Records. This role collaborates with various workgroups, primarily People (HumanResources) and Information Technology. They'll maintain, share, and purge data in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements, as well as serve the business needs. They also support litigation and government investigations. The Senior Privacy Analyst is strategic, detail-oriented, and excited to support impactful initiatives that drive the future of Southwest.

Job Summary
The Sr Privacy Analyst - Third Party Risk Management ("TPRM") will be responsible for the administration of the Privacy Office Third Party Risk program. This includes cross-functional alignment with all stakeholders, including Legal, Supply Chain, and any applicable business groups. Additionally, this person will serve as the triage point for all new and changing vendor agreements and will be responsible for facilitating the execution of the Risk Ranking Questionnaire and Vendor Privacy Assessments. The Sr Privacy Analyst will also work closely with training and awareness partners to ensure TPRM is appropriately represented.
Responsibilities
Review supplier risk assessments, working closely with key Company partners, to identify and evaluate risks prior to contract negotiations
Use a risk-based approach to reassess existing suppliers on a periodic basis and monitor suppliers' privacy practices and compliance with contractual obligations
Identify process improvement opportunities to continuously enhance the Program
Work closely with Privacy Champions and Business Process Owners to implement privacy by design guidelines and processes, including review of Privacy and Data Protection Impact Assessments
Draft, evaluate, update, and collaborate on policies, procedures, and guidelines to reflect current privacy program requirements
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
Vendor Management
Compliance
Privacy
Risk Assessment
Preferred: Prior experience in Records Management, certification as a Records Manager (CRM), and/or in ARMA.

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $92,950 per year to $103,300 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
