Essential duties include the following: Facilitates the team’s work using Agile practices to execute with speed and quality through a focus on delivery flow. Balances demand with team capacity to maximize delivery efficiency and effectiveness. Uses systematic approaches to improving the team’s ability to identify and overcome impediments and bottlenecks. Leads efforts to visually manage workflow and limit work in progress to deliver timely outcomes. Defines, estimates, and prioritizes items of value for downstream delivery. Inspires team growth and well-being to facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders and among teams. Champions agile thinking and practices to improve delivery and value for the organization, and coaches, mentors, and trains stakeholders. Fosters proper communication by assisting internal and external stakeholder communication, improving transparency, and radiating information. Identifies external interference that could impact productivity and resources required to make the team successful. Engages stakeholders to set attainable goals and ensure they deliver work at a predictable velocity with superior quality. Works with Product owner to hold teams accountable. Works with and coaches the Product Owner in creating and managing the product roadmap, grooming the backlog, providing clear requirements to the team, splitting work into small independent pieces, and defining delivery cadence. Guides teams on how to get the most out of self-organization and constantly work towards continuous improvement. Provides support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example. Performs other duties as assigned. Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study from an accredited four-year college or university. Minimum five (5) years of experience with Agile methodologies. Minimum of two (2) years of broad experience in a technological environment. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Professional Scrum Master) Demonstrated skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency. Demonstrated knowledge of other Agile approaches: Kanban, Scrum, Distributed Agile, etc. Knowledge and experience with process improvement using approaches such as Lean Six Sigma. Strong negotiation skills. Advanced skills to manage priorities and deadlines. Proficient problem-solving and analytic skills. Demonstrated ability to hold teams accountable for commitments. Excellent communication and mentoring skills. Experience using collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, etc. Detailed organizational skills with high attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Able to use basic office equipment, including copy machine, personal computer, and fax. Able to type 40 WPM. Able to travel locally or nationally by car or plane. Sit for prolonged periods of time performing sedentary activities. Stand, stoop, and kneel to file for prolonged periods of time. Push, pull, and lift files, supplies, documents, or other related items.
