POSITION SUMMARY
Self-Storage Management Company is seeking an individual to assist the growing accounting team with accurately reporting monthly financials for 13 self-storage properties, while meeting deadlines & support the integration of new acquisitions. Must be well organized, thorough, and good communicator with experience in Yardi and QuickBooks.
The ideal candidate will be highly accurate, responsive, and able to change direction quickly. Flexible work hours ranging from 20-30 hours per week (in-office). Could potentially be a full-time position as company grows.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide support to Owner in administrative day-to-day tasks as needed
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Controller with day-to-day accounting functions
- Process monthly financials for all storage entities
- Adhere to strict deadlines and effectively manage workload
- Set-up and organize process to prepare annual sales tax reports for CDTFA, online for all entities
- Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials and exercise discretion when interfacing with the business.
- Prepare year end 1099s
- Take ownership of projects assigned by executives and provide follow-through
- Performs other duties as assigned
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Navigate, update, and work effectively in Yardi Software - Experience Required
- Navigate, update, and work effectively QuickBooks - Experience Required
- 3-5 years bookkeeping experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and ever-changing environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Controller who works remotely

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
