What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Reconciliation Technician/LPN position at Southwestern Vermont Health Care?
Under the supervision of a physician, mid-level provider and/or registered nurse, the ED Technician is responsible for proving individualized, goal directed patient care.
- This position is responsible for assisting in compiling medication lists and entering into EMR.
- Identifies discrepancies and notifies attending MD of any conflicting information.
- Compiles medication list utilizing patient, provider and pharmacy medication list.
Certified Pharmacy Technician status or prior experience as a pharmacy technician required or LPN experienced with medication administration
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Basic understanding of Medical terminology required. Prior experience in the medical field preferred. Current EMT Certification, VT LPN or LNA required.
