Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Reports To: Site Leader
Location: Bremen, IN
Supervises:
All Maintenance Personnel including Mechanics, Electricians, Electronic Technicians, and other Maintenance Positions.
Principal Objective:
The Maintenance Manager is directly responsible for implementing and developing predictive and preventative maintenance activities that will ensure equipment and process reliability. Facilitate safe, timely, and efficient high-quality production by providing effective leadership to employees responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment. Maintain equipment in like new condition through a world class preventative maintenance program. Develop key metrics that drive continuous improvement in both staff and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities and duties as a key member of the operations team, the following additional responsibilities provide a framework for accomplishing the principle objective.
• Coordinate, facilitate and motivate employees to their highest potential.
• Maintain positive attitudes to assure company and customer (internal and external) satisfaction.
• Provide personal counseling and keep employees informed of policies, procedures, and operational changes. Perform reviews, hiring and discipline for subordinates.
• Responsible for maintaining safety rules and instructing employees on good safety habits.
• Initiate and attend meetings to ensure continuous improvements in tooling and work habits.
• Coordinate and guide employee involvement in team building, meetings, projects and company policies and procedures.
• Proven experience leading in a data driven maintenance planning environment.
• Manage labor, outside services, and parts to meet the financial goals of Southwire
• Coordinate and lead the custodial service, both internal and contracted, to maintain the facilities in a world class condition.
• Manage purchasing, stocking, and inventory control of all spare parts and materials used to maintain the equipment and facility.
• Coordinate all outside services required to maintain and improve the equipment, facilities, and the grounds.
• Define, submit for approval, and complete capital projects required to improve or extend the life of the equipment or facilities.
• Maintain and improve the LOTO and PM systems for the equipment and facilities.
• Consults with Engineering, Quality and Safety to ensure product manufacture ability.
• Responsible for meeting production and delivery deadlines
• Introduce latest technological advancements into the organization.

Desirable Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline and or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous technical supervisory experience demonstrating the ability to manage.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems with electronic controls.
• Five years of electrical experience with manufacturing equipment.
• Five years of mechanical experience with manufacturing equipment.
• Digital controls troubleshooting experience
• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, and be able to read specs and prints.
• Must be able to use and manipulate computer applications such Word and Excel.
Physical Demands:
Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift, regularly lifting up to 20 lbs., frequent pulling, pushing and bending. The ability to perform visual inspection is a necessity. On Call for Plant 24/7.
