Provides and promotes employee health programs to employees, physicians, volunteers and students. Supports the worker’s compensation program and OSHA log for Sovah Health - Martinsville.
Minimum Education
Graduate of a school of practical nursing.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work guided by protocols under guidance of Medical Director and RN Manager. Ability to work under stress; maintain emotional control. Demonstrates ethical and professional behavioral characteristics and attitude
Required Skills
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association required.
Required Skills
License:
Licensed Practical Nurse from the Virginia Board of Nursing or compact State required.
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of three years experience in nursing required. Experience in employee health, occupational health preferred.
