The Work You'll Do:

This role is a key member of the Sovos Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This position supports forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning (LRP) processes, as well as supporting various ad hoc business analyses in support of Sovos’ objectives

More specifically you will:

• Overall responsibility for execution of monthly financial forecast, as well as annual budgets and long-range plan activities.
• Designs, implements, and enhances financial forecasting tools and processes
• Provides insightful reporting and data analyses to senior management in support of forecasting and performance management
• Understands the drivers of financial results, and clearly communicate the ‘story’ around the numbers
• Partners with business departments to help achieve financial and business objectives
• Gains alignment with business partners to better inform financial forecasting
• Provides meaningful business review and financial insight, with a focus on performance indicators and key drivers
• Develops a partnership with stakeholders to enable buy-in and ownership of financial goals
• Provides objective analytical support to influence and reinforce business decisions
• Ability to indirectly guide all financial processes within the FP&A team, and seen as a leader, driving performance forward through indirect influence
• Project manage the month Board of Directors’ reporting process, including ensuring deadlines are met by both peers and superiors
• Ensure overall financials are correct, and ensure the ‘financial story’ is adequately represented

What We Need From You

• History of success working in a financial-based role
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
• English Level: Advanced
• ERP knowledge: Salesforce, Netsuite (Advanced)
• Due to client contractual obligations– the successful candidate will have to clear a background check and drug test
