The Work You’ll Do:

We're looking for a results-driven and highly skilled UX manager who has a proven track record of leading the UX strategy for a portfolio of products. You will join a global team of designers to help us deliver industry-leading customer experience. The Sovos UX design team is a diverse group of passionate, highly-skilled designers who are committed to delivering value to our customers and having fun while we do it.

Within Sovos, you will develop, plan and lead the UX strategy across our Latin American product portfolio, while giving ongoing creative feedback to UX designers, intaking and balancing the shifting needs of the company and aligning teams towards common objectives. You are first and foremost, a stellar product designer, able to make decisions based on past experience, available information and a bit of intuition. You have worked on complex products before and are familiar with the needs of enterprise customers. You are an excellent communicator and can ‘manage up’, effectively engaging a wide range of stakeholders, as well as ‘manage down’, giving direct, nuanced feedback to designers. You will report directly to the VP of Customer Experience, and will work closely with product managers and lead engineers to shape the future of our Latin American products.

What are my responsibilities going to be, more specifically?

• Develop and ‘sell’ product design strategy for a broad portfolio of products, effectively applying feedback and aligning a diverse team of senior stakeholders.
• Break down complex, large-scale projects into milestones and launches, to make extraordinary ideas feasible and to deliver value to customers as quickly as possible. This includes directing major redesign projects for several products simultaneously.
• Plan and lead projects at all stages of the design process, enabling your team of designers to successfully execute your vision.
• Develop a high performing team of designers, deliver design feedback and uphold the highest standards, thinking explicitly about every point of contact that impacts the customer experience.
• Embrace lean design methodology to validate assumptions early and drive towards delivering maximum value within minimum effort.
• Build close working relationships with product management, lead engineers and other business partners. Product design is a team sport!

What We Need from You:

• 10 years of experience designing complex products, with direct experience in SaaS enterprise products or industries such as Fintech, Healthcare, Banking or Insurance
• 2 years of management experience: leading a design team as well as defining and delivering large scale projects
• Naturally resourceful and entrepreneurial: Nothing stands in the way between you and your goals!
• Work samples that demonstrate:
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to complete a background check and drug test upon hire
