We'll cover the monthly cost of your health club membership (up to a point, of course...don't go getting crazy on this one!) * New iPad when on-boarded, and it's yours to keep after a year of service...we want you to have a fun way to stay connected * To learn more: [ Link removed ] - Click here to apply to Digital Model Based Sr. Systems Engineer with Security Clearance Responsibilities Engineering Future Systems Responsibilities : - Exercise thought leadership and practical engineering application by leveraging extensive Systems Engineering and MBSE experiences to lead the Digital Engineering support provided to the Customer. - Oversee definition and documentation of enterprise level policies, procedures, guidance, and best practices regarding use of modeling languages and frameworks. - Manage teams developing an organized repeatable approach, methodology, language, and style that enables elements usage with a model and sharing between model development projects. - Develop modeling methods driven by Digital Engineering and Systems Engineering objectives, including library of standardized and frequently used patterns. - Develop documentation for how to create/maintain modeling libraries that shall be used among all models. - Develop documentation for how to integrate model and develop model queries to enable architects, enterprise system engineers, and acquisition offices to obtain results of previous work. - Gather, document, and share systems engineering lessons learned throughout the enterprise. - Work across multiple Directorates and Offices to identify and define future space capability needs. - Frequent interaction with government, SETA, FFRDC, external stakeholders, and development contractors. Lead and manage personnel charged with the following activities: o Develop and use Modeling Methodologies and Ontologies o Develop and customize MetaModels o Develop and enforce modeling best practices and support quality reviews for models o Develop Model structure and Data Management principles o Plan Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) model development in support of systems engineering objectives and program milestones o Support efforts involving MBE and MBSE tools and procedures o Generate reports out of the MBSE tools for analysis o Prepare briefings for senior decision makers About You Your experience and expertise will allow you to ramp up quickly to support ongoing near/mid-term projects, as well as to identify and shape future initiatives in an increasingly proactive manner. Your ability to see the big picture will allow you to prioritize your time, focus on high risk mitigation, and resist lower-value competition for your time. Your ability to communicate in layers allows you to effectively communicate to diverse groups of people to ensure political, programmatic, and technical acceptance, and primarily in that order. Qualifications * Advanced degree in STEM (computer science, computer engineering, science, technical, engineering, math) or related discipline
* Familiarity with popular machine learning software libraries (e.g. Tensorflow/Keras, PyTorch, OpenAI Gym) and current algorithms
* Broad background in Machine Learning technologies, including reinforcement learning, deep learning, computer vision and knowledge graphs
* Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, AWS QuickSight, Looker, or Qlik
* Hands-on experience with the development of AI-enhanced decision system prototypes
* Innovative, strong work ethic, able to think critically, and able to take initiative and work both independently and within a team
