What are the responsibilities and job description for the Earth Science Intern position at SPACE SYSTEMS LLC?
Space Systems, LLC is seeking an Intern to support Earth Science projects.
The intern will support a team of research scientists, data analysts, and computer engineers who are developing land surface carbon cycle observation, modeling, and high-performance computing products at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
Required Qualifications:
· Prior internship experience in a science field, preferably Earth Science
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Ability to successfully work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team in virtual and in-person environments

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear and occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
