INSPECTION & TEST SPECIALIST, SEMICONDUCTORS (STARLINK)
One of the most ambitious missions that SpaceX has undertaken to date, the Starlink satellite constellation, is our solution to providing reliable internet to the entire world. In true SpaceX fashion, Starlink is taking the next step in vertical integration by bringing integrated circuit packaging and assembly in-house for development and manufacturing. You will work closely with IC packaging engineers, test engineers, equipment manufacturers and leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute new product introduction builds across all work centers for test
- Partner with Development Engineering Team on New Product Integration Activities and Process of Record (POR) Definition
- Perform Recipe Development, Automated Equipment Programming, & Validation
- Operate electrical test equipment for validation, characterization, and qualification of new & existing products
- Identify, document, and escalate occurrences of non-conformance or process deviation
- Collaborate with Engineering Staff on formalizing process requirements, quality improvements, new product releases, equipment debug and fault isolation
- Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment for engineering and production sample testing through Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Team with Engineering & Management Team to formalize Work Instructions, document & provide training (hands-on) to other technicians as needed
- Participate in continuous improvement processes for safety, yield, performance, delivery and cost
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 6 years of professional experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment; OR bachelor's degree in an engineering, math or science discipline
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, math or science discipline
- 3 years microelectronics packaging test or wafer test experience
- 1 year operating automated test equipment (ATE) in cleanroom
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work all shift, overtime and/or weekends as needed
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted

Inspection & Test Specialist, Semiconductors (Starlink)/Level 1: $30.00 - $38.00/hour
Inspection & Test Specialist, Semiconductors (Starlink)//Level 2: $34.00 - $43.00/hour
Inspection & Test Specialist, Semiconductors (Starlink)//Level 3: $38.00 - $48.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
