Position Type: Full-Time
Work Location: This is a remote position (see on-site requirements below).
**On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Lexington Park, MD for candidates that are local to the area. Candidates out of state will be onboarded virtually. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however for local candidates, training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.
Essential Functions:
- Ideate, design, develop and maintain Oracle databases, applications, and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle databases and applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve database connection and performance issues.
- Occasional daily/evening/weekend support
- Supports Development teams as needed.
- Mentoring other DBAs as needed.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
- Proficient with Oracle.
- Familiar with Unix/Linux.
- Experience working with Oracle scripting, data management, and application development.
- Experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Proficiency in Oracle tools and technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Comp TIA Security CE certification.
- Operating system training certificate of completion for the UNIX operating system.
- Operating system training certificate of completion for the Windows operating system.

Desired:
- Experience with Informatica.
- Experience with Qlik.
Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required and must be eligible for Top Secret Clearance (SSBI). Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
Education:
BA/BS degree and 10 years related experience required.
