Responsibilities:
- Analyze operational requirements and assess data processing technology
- Plan, design, develop, and implement integrated hardware/software systems solutions to organizational requirements
- Test/troubleshoot system software
- Organize resources and establish priorities
- Develop/write systems and applications documentation
- Provide a range of systems training and/or support activities for users
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2 years of experience (or 1 year of experience with a Master's degree)
- Experience with web development using the following software: Java, J2EE technologies (Servlets, JSP, JDBC, RMI, web services (SOAP, RESTful)), EJB, AJAX, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Oracle 10G SQL, SQL scrips for DDL and DML
- Experience using configuration management tools (e.g., SVN, CVS)
- Experience processing XML documents using DOM, SAX, JAXB, and transformations using XSLT
- Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
