Job Summary/Company:
Our client, a strategic, successful, 8(a) Woman owned government contractor providing comprehensive Acquisitions support, is seeking a motivated Sr. Acquisition Policy Analyst. Working in support of a federal agency, the Sr. Acquisition Policy Analyst will provide acquisition policy oversight and contracting services to fulfill the needs of the agency. Responsibilities:
- Review agency-specific acquisition policies and procedures, and provide expert analysis to improve policies and procedures, checklists, templates, samples, and additional necessary documentation
- Assist with development of a numbering scheme for internal policy documents
- Develop a contract management review process and associated documents to test compliance with established operational internal control activities
- Assist with content development for SharePoint, relaying information to the workforce, and creating and presenting training materials on policies and procedures, as needed.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of Acquisition/Procurement/Contracting experience to include creating acquisition policy for a federal agency
- Proficient with researching, analyzing, and interpreting acquisition policies and procedures
- Knowledge and functional understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), contracting processes, policies and procedures, commercial contracting methods, and other Government regulations
