Spartan Plumbing is currently hiring for a full-time Supervisor / Manager to oversee our plumbing operations and service team in the Dayton, OH area. This service manager position earns competitive pay.

DAY-TO-DAY
As a Supervisor / Manager, you verify calls with dispatchers, review overnight calls, and return calls as necessary. It's important that we are prepared for our workload every day, so you assess manpower availability with those who are sick or on vacation and then perform job carry-over as needed. You set up first calls with dispatch, inspect trucks, verify truck inventory, and review reports. All this keeps us organized and efficient! You also hold scheduled 1:1 meetings with service technicians, to properly inform and train them. You also observe service technicians in the field through scheduled ride-a-longs and identify development needs.
On a weekly basis, you prepare and conduct service meetings. You manage data for coaching opportunities as well as perform recruiting and hiring activities. We're usually always recruiting, but hire only when needed. You prepare payroll, attend meetings with the general manager, develop work schedules, create training plans, and do whatever else you need to help your team succeed. You enjoy using your experience and skills to teach each service technician. You feel accomplished seeing your team learn, grow, and perform well!

REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years of supervisory or management experience
- Experience using tablets
