What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jet Assembly Technician position at Spartan Tool?
1. Perform duties as required or directed by Production Manager and Leadperson.
2. Work from drawings and specifications to assemble and test water jet sewer cleaning equipment.
3. Position and install components such as engine, pump, axles, wheels, gas tank, water tank, reels.
4. Use fork lift and overhead crane to assist in assemblies.
5. Assemble plumbing components, gas lines; make up and connect wiring to taillights, various switches and gauges; install hoses and accessories.
6. Make operational tests and adjustments to complete units. Check PSI and pulser operation, touch-up paint as needed. Notify supervisor of assembly or test problems. Skid jets for shipment as needed
7. Report all unusual conditions or defective materials to you supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. Observe all safety regulations. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion'
