D365 Database and System Administrator – Reports to D365 Program Manager

(Position is remote based but requires some on site work in MN. Must be located in Minneapolis, MN for consideration).

Responsible for D365 database on premise environment - planning, tuning, maintenance and support. Responsible for server and application administration. 

Primary or Major Responsibilities:

• Database maintenance, patching, tuning, troubleshooting. 
• Application performance - responsible
• Server configuration maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Database and application patch reviews, testing, execution - assistance
• Infrastructure team assistance for network and hardware performance issues.
• Security compliance of D365 for IST, CMMC, ISO. - Assess and maintain
• Application administration (D365) Job scheduling, MRP scheduling and Tuning.
• Define and validate disaster recovery plans.
• Implementation team member for new location rollouts and for new services.
• Change control Input for impact, audit and validation purposes. 
• Report and custom forms tuning. 
• Application Reports and Forms design/build.
• Data warehouse tuning and maintenance.
• PowerBI tuning and application support

• Results oriented work style in a 24x7 application uptime environment.
• Able to work simultaneously on multiple projects within tight time frames with ability to produce high quality outcomes.
• Flexible and able to plan for contingencies and know when to invoke them.
• Strong organizational skills. High level of personal discipline.
• Able to communicate and collaborate well with technical teams and business SMEs (subject matter experts).
• Experienced and skilled in documenting configurations, architecture, technical processes.
• Able to work efficiently in a matrix environment.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or equivalent required. Advanced degrees, a plus
• Demonstrated experience with D365 technology stack or great SQL server skills
• 3 Years SQL and custom reporting solutions
• 2 Years of Project Management or Project Implementation Preferred
• 3 Years of ERP Support Experience
• Strong knowledge of IT governance, project planning, and the technological usage/alternatives available in a multi-business unit environment.
• Functional knowledge of core business processes such as accounting, manufacturing, inventory management, and the supply chain.
