Description:
We are looking for a Technical Editor/Writer to join our team! This position will be hybrid. The candidate will be working remotely, except when needed in the office (average 1 day a week). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overall quality management and support of technical writing/documentation efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Create the necessary quality technical documentation
- Researches, organizes, writes, edits and produces data for use in a wide variety of complex technical publications for proposals and bid documentation, requiring in-depth knowledge and understanding of the subject matter and allied fields.
- Develops department editing standards and styles.
Qualifications:
- Five years of documentation, technical writing, proofreading, or related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Science, or related field; or eight (8) years of relevant experience.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational skills to balance and prioritize work and multitask
- Good communication and customer service skills
Additional Requirements:
- In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
- Ability to pass a US Public Trust background investigation for access to the client site and computing systems. You must have lived in the US for the past three (3) years.
- As a Federal Contractor, all Spatial Front Employees are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and provide proof of vaccination prior to the first date of employment.
