Qualifications:
Have a high-stress tolerance, be self-regulating, possess both reliability and consistency, be able to learn and problem solve well and have practically perfect organizational skills. Any combination of knowledge and experience that would provide the required ability to adequately perform the job as detailed in this job description would qualify. Ability to provide driver's License. First Aide and Non-Crises Interventions certificates are preferred.
Qualifications and Skills Include:
- JOB PURPOSE:To help children who are diagnosed with Autism, developmentally delayed or at-risk children by providing multidisciplinary child and family assessments and interventions.
The Assistant Clinical Director reports directly to the Clinical Director. Assistant Clinical Directors also have ultimate accountability for ensuring appropriate ABA programs are being implemented for each assigned child in his/ her caseload. In order to accomplish this, he/she provides behavior analytic expertise, manages client, and parent relationships, and supervises a team of RBT’s/ABA therapists to ensure quality execution of behavior analytic duties.
This position may require light travel to the client’s homes for assessment, parent education, and support.Requirements
- A master's degree in a Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field is required. In some cases, experience may substitute for academic training. A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board required (except in CT).
- 2-5 years experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong time management and writing skills.
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid, US driver's license for at least one year.
- All applicants must be able to become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment, and MAP certified within 150 days of employment.

Responsibilities:
- Weekly supervision of consumer progress
- Direct supervision and mentorship of BTs
- Implementation of parent training
- Maintain communication with parents
- Programming and report writing
- Assist with assessments

Reports to: Clinical Director
Supervisory duties: All staff as directed by management. This includes communication and training, but will exclude any type of disciplinary action, counseling, or participating in company internal investigations
