Educational Diagnostician (Full-time)


Location: Carrollton, TX

Modality: In Person

Start Date: July 25, 2022 (22-23 school year position)


JOB SUMMARY:

Specialized is seeking multiple Educational Diagnosticians for a number of local schools in the Carrollton, Texas area with K through 12 populations. The Educational Diagnosticians will be responsible for the completion of Full and Individual evaluations to assist with eligibility determination for students with disabilities or suspected disabilities, as well as facilitate and conduct ARD meetings. This is an on-site position that will require the candidate to be available Monday through Friday during school hours. Scheduling is flexible but services must be provided during school days and hours. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications Needed for an Educational Diagnostician

  • Graduate degree and certification as a diagnostician from the Texas State Board for Educator Certification

  • Thorough knowledge and ability to conduct, interpret and write cross-battery assessments for Specific Learning Disability Evaluations

Qualifications Preferred

  • 2 years of in school experience
