What are the responsibilities and job description for the Showroom Manager position at Specialty Appliance?
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Follow and instill a culture that exudes the S.A. 6 Core Values at all times. Manage those that do not portray the 6 Core Values appropriately.
- Key metrics are Sales Growth, Margin Improvement, Return Reductions, Install/Sales Ratios, Inventory Productivity (aging), Written Sales Growth and Customer Reviews.
- Develop sales team to achieve Sales, Margin, Returns, Installation Sales and new business goals. Insure existing customers are adequately serviced.
- Identify and engage new business prospects/leads. Press team to engage.
- Stay engaged with existing Trade Partners and develop new Trade Partners.
- Planning and attainment of business revenue and profit goals.
- Associate recruitment, selection, education/training and ongoing development.
- Strengthen & accelerate sales productivity through ongoing staffing and market reviews.
- Develop and grow sales via the assigned sales team insuring that they abide by the S.A. Core Values.
- Design & evaluate action plans by brand, by segment and by associate to ensure growth.
- Communicate and execute the business strategy & implement strategic initiatives.
- Implementation of the business “plan to sell” and marketing programs
- Assures a professional and safe environment is created and maintained.
- Works closely with functional support areas to ensure a 100% conformance to promise
- Orchestrate involvement with industry trade associations throughout the market area.
- Maintains a high level of showroom standards; ensures merchandise presentation and assortment is in accordance with company direction and that showroom are always clean, functional and staffed appropriately.
- Strengthen vendor relationships through regular communication and training sessions.
