Duties/Responsibilities Uses tools and equipment to build tooling. Repair dies, molds, and tools when needed; disassemble molds, jigs, tools, and fixtures, then reassembles when repaired. Read and understand blueprints and drawings as required to create and build new fixtures, tools, and parts. Figure quantity and ratio of materials then measure, mix, and pour for tooling. Inspect completed tools for signs of imperfection, damage, and dimensions that may affect functionality or final results. Welding/Fabricating. Fill out daily safety and production sheets both manually and digitally. Maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety. Dependable and a Strong Work Ethic. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely and accurately operate all measuring and production equipment. Ability to work independently, and with others. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in math. Basic computer skills. Helpful Skills, but not mandatory Familiar with basic woodworking equipment, measuring tools, and hand tools. Familiar with metal working lathe and mill. Welding/Fabricating. Familiar with mold making materials/processes. Able to read and understand blueprints/drawings. Familiar with 3D printing. Familiar with Solidworks.
