Human Resources Management
Health and Safety
Supporting Health/Safety Specialist with implementation of Health/Safety Management Systems at locations
Monitor legal compliance & legislative changes
Attendance Management:
Ongoing administration of the Attendance Management Program for hourly & salary employees
Manage employees on extended medical leaves
Working closely with the Health & Safety Specialist and Production Mgrs to develop Return-To-Work Plans and ensure closure of plans.
Operational HR Strategy Plan:
Oversight and operational management of the HR Strategy plan
Tracking action items and resolutions of key plan performance indicators
Managing monthly KPI’s at each unit ensuring action plan to close gaps
Develop and present Leadership and Change Mgmt Training modules
ADP/HRIS /Payroll
Ownership of Payroll processes
Update and track employee onboarding / off boarding information
Tracking of benefits usage and leaves (DPSP / Benefits)
Ongoing administrative support for employee records upkeep and information changes
Support all HR module implementations
Generate HR value added reports
Recruitment:
Conduct interviews for vacancies within the organization
Create incoming employee offer letters
Conduct exit interviews for outgoing team members and create reports of key findings
Develop standardized onboarding program for all divisions
Develop employee handbook for all divisions
Ensure legal compliance for Payroll is aligned for all new hires.
Implementation of candidate tracking system
Ensure job descriptions are reviewed and updated annually
Workplace Investigations:
Conduct workplace investigations, ensuring employee receive feedback to investigation and reports are filed, action plans managed.
Labour Relations:
Attend Manager meetings to identify opportunities for new policies
Conducting annual wage analysis for salary and hourly positions
Performance Management:
Direct and triage daily performance management concerns
Collaborate with leadership team to align operational expectations
Develop streamlined performance management program
Employee Engagement Survey Action Plan:
Analyze survey results and communicate results with stakeholders
Develop employee engagement plan with key internal stakeholders
Implement action plan to enhance employee engagement
Develop strategies to improve employee retention to enhance employee engagement plan.
Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives:
Develop Diversity and Inclusion Initiative
Implement Diversity and Inclusion action plan
Implement review cycle to initiate and ongoing maintenance program
Employee Wellness Initiatives:
Conduct research on employee wellness initiatives and programs sector-wide
Develop Wellness initiative plan for all divisions
Execute the employee wellness initiatives though stakeholder cooperation
