BI/WebFOCUS Developer Westlake, TX/Durham, NC (Hybrid- 3 days onsite per month)
12 months
W2 Minimum pay rate starts from : $60/hr w2
Must Haves:
Multiple BI tools Knowledge preferably Tableau and Power BI
WebFOCUS Knowledge [ To understand already developed WebFOCUS report for prod support]
AWS and Linux/Unix Knowledge [ For cloud migration activities ]
The Expertise You Have and the Skills You Bring
- Proven track record as a Technical Lead, crafting new solutions and re-platforming applications.
- Experience in doing POC’s on different BI Tools based on requirements.
- Specialization in rewriting Reports/Dashboard in different BI Tools like Tableau, power BI, WebFOCUS etc.
- Expertise in Integrating BI reports/Dashboard with custom developed UI.
- Hands on experience in developing WebFOCUS reports in different formats.
- Hands on experience in developing WebFOCUS dashboards using WebFOCUS designer.
- Experience in designing/architecting solution for moving on-Prem BI applications to cloud.
- Expertise in adopting security practices to secure data and functionality in BI Tools.
- Experience in AWS cloud-platforms like EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, IAM Roles etc.
- Experience in Oracle PL-SQL development.
- Experience in Agile working environment.
- Validated hands-on experience with Python, Java and Angular.
- Knowledge in Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
- Passionate about working in a DevOps culture.
- Experience in Supporting and securing API’s.
- Ability to learn additional technologies required to advance business opportunities or problems.
Engineering Leadership
- Actively participates in formal reviews of architecture, design, and code.
- Experience with developing sophisticated Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline including software configuration management, test automation, version control, static code analysis.
- Ability to lead teams and associates through overcoming sophisticated technical challenges.
- Identification and ownership over engineering excellence roadmap.
- Input into overall technical architecture, standards & practices, and organizational change process for development, deployment & operational excellence.
Engineering Talent Development
- Nurture an environment where associates can develop and thrive.
- Assists with interviewing, input, and feedback on global multi-functional associates.
- Lead, guide, support, and mentor team members.
- Encourages looking at problems and processes in new ways.
- Responsible for supervising the work of team members along with mentoring them.
